I drove produce up and down 99 for nine years. Half my clients drive trucks, and the other half load them.
I grew up in Turlock, the son of a dairy hand, and drove for a produce hauler out of Modesto before law school. When a friend lost his job for good after a trailer rolled on him, I started law school at night.
I handle comp claims for drivers, dock and warehouse workers, and the third-party cases that follow a crash on the job. I work in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

How Leonel works a crash case
Leonel starts with the truck: the logbook, the dash camera, the maintenance records. He sends letters the first week asking everyone involved to keep them, before they are lost or erased.
Then he runs the comp claim and the claim against the other driver side by side, so a settlement in one never undercuts the other.
